Doula Baby

Delivering a better birth experience

About the Doula

My name is Belinda Neal and I’m a mum of three boys ranging from 9 -16 years old.   I genuinely feel there is a real need for doulas to help more parents achieve a more natural and relaxed birth (sometimes with additional pain relief and sometimes without - it's totally your choice)    The important thing is that you achieve a birth that you can enjoy, not endure. A birth that’s a wonderful experience for both parents and gives your new baby the best possible start in life.

I trained with Nurturing Birth and am a member of Doula UK, the recognised national body for doulas and a member of FEDANT (the Federation of Antenatal Educators).  I also offer breastfeeding support.

I work as a birth doula in and around Kent including Bromley, Orpington, Sidcup, Chislehurst, Crowborough, Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas.

I can attend either home or hospital births.

The following hospitals are within my catchment area:

Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough (PRUH)

Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup

Pembury Hospital, Tunbridge Wells

Crowborough Birthing Centre

My training:

  • Nurturing Birth Training - Birth and Postnatal Doula
  • Recognised Doula - Doula UK
  • Advanced Breastfeeding Course
  • Advanced Birth Doula Course
  • Paediatric First Aid
  • Volunteer - Maternity Ward, Farnborough Hospital
  • Foot Massage for Labouring Women
  • Indian Head Massage

  • And not least ... the birth and breastfeeding of my own three boys!                                      Fully insured

I volunteer on the Delivery Suite at the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough - so full police check in place for your peace of mind.
